Well perhaps not an evening but an hour at least.
And before you go thinking I'm taking a break, I am of course working on this - sorting out some loose ends. For example, I've just added a page, (this page), which has turned up under the wrong category. I could test the 'move page to another category' function or just fudge it by hand, as they say in Cornwall. A fudge will do for now. I don't want to stop my flow just as I'm starting. However, I will take a quick look to see what went wrong.
Next on the list is preparing a function to transfer an entry on this website to another, specifically divotsgalore.co.uk. And before that I need to finish re-installing the function that lets people add and edit notes on each scorecard they enter, but more on that when the functions are working.
It's nearly 9.30 p.m. and while the 'add notes' function on the divots site is taking shape it's also becoming tiresome. Time for a break. I just need to get someone's address....
I'm not sure if I ever will spoil this site with 3rd party ads, but the layout has been conceived to allow big fat banners here.
Perhaps I should start advertising 'Create your own version of this website for just £9.99 a month!'
