Today has been a day in bed - just joshing. I've been working on www.bltbeds.co.uk all day - trying to sort out an export XML file for the Google Base service. It's getting there but I seem to have become distracted by trying to find a way to look up the PageRank of a website using PHP.
It looked like I was destined to go round in circles trying one near miss after another. However, I seem to have crakced it. If my solution proves to be stable I might have to add it to the portfolio of online services available via www.mjbdata.ltd.uk
It's nearly 6pm and the Google Base projectlet has taken rather more of the day than I'd hoped and it's time to stop and take a breather before popping along to what should be a relatively informal networky thing - a collision of 2 small networking groups I frequent, Refresh Cambridge and CaMedia
... the networking event was a washout and it is actually raining.
Today's mission is to progress the new bed search system on BLTBeds through to BETA stage for testing. More on this on the BLT Beds Blog.
I'm not sure if I ever will spoil this site with 3rd party ads, but the layout has been conceived to allow big fat banners here.
Perhaps I should start advertising 'Create your own version of this website for just £9.99 a month!'
Any takers? Enquiries by email please.
