Linking to pages on the Typomania CMS

As well as the standard method for link from one page to another, Typomania allows you to use page IDs so that links update themselves whenever the URL changes.

The standard way to link to this page would be: <a href='http://www.typomania.co.uk/typomania/help-and-information/linking-to-pages-on-the-typomania-cms.html'>anchor text here</a>

On Typomania, the URL of each page is automatically generated by the page-title, and will change if the page title is amended. To avoid having to update your links when this happens there is an alternative linking method where the ID of the page is inserted instead of the URL. Typomania will automatically translate these IDs into the URL. E.g.

This address:
<a href='~94~'>anchor text here</a>

Would be appear like this:
anchor text here
